Billy Rayfield, a recent masters graduate of International Development from the University of Amsterdam, is a passionate defender of food safety and interested in the issues dominating the global food system. Billy, 24, lives in Guatemala and is currently working for a grassroots NGO providing quality healthcare to marginalized communities in Xela. Having written a comprehensive thesis analyzing the food security situation in Guatemala, he knows firsthand the challenges of providing healthy and nutritious food to all. Billy holds a Politics degree from Nottingham Trent University and has experience working on development projects in India, The Netherlands and Colombia. For fun, Billy enjoys all things soccer, exploring the natural beauty of Latin America and learning more about different cultures.
